A learning circle for sisters. Teachers will occasionally drop by for special topics. Our goal is to read from authentic books, reflect it into our lives and discuss.

Islamic Rules of Worship
A weekly lecture series introducing the basics of worship in Islam, a must-attend for the beginner and an excellent refresher for any Muslim.
A weekly circle of remembrance and learning that covers the basics of worship in Islam (e.g. prayers, fasting, etc…). This Halaqa, open to brothers and sisters, is a great learning opportunity for those who are new to Islam and is also a good refresher for long time Muslims on the basics of worship.

Survey Islamic History
Already know about Islam but curious to know about Muslims? This lecture series takes you through fourteen centuries of Islamic civilization from the beginning of the Caliphate until the twentieth century. Open for everyone. Join us for our new weekly lecture to learn about the history of Islam and Muslims. The halaqa is held on Saturdays at 7:00pm at ICC (312 Lisgar st), God willing. Everyone is welcome.
